Before Your Visit…

Spa on the Hill prides itself on its expertise in customer care and service. Because of this we uphold a few policies to ensure the ultimate experience for our clients and responsibility and care for our team.

RESERVING YOUR APPOINTMENT

WE RESERVE ALL APPOINTMENTS VIA OUR ONLINE SOFTWARE, MINDBODY ONLINE.  TO SECURE YOUR APPOINTMENT, A VALID CREDIT CARD MUST BE ASSIGNED TO YOUR FILE.  YOUR CARD INFORMATION IS SAFELY ENCRYPTED INTO YOUR ACCOUNT AND MAY BE USED TO PAY FOR SERVICES, PRODUCTS, GRATUITIES, OR LATE CANCELLATIONS.

PAYMENT

  • WE ACCEPT ALL MAJOR CREDIT AND DEBIT CARDS INCLUDING AMERICAN EXPRESS, VISA, MASTERCARD, AND DISCOVER.
  • WE ACCEPT ONLY SPA ON THE HILL GIFT CERTIFICATES OR SPAFINDER GIFT CERTIFICATES.
  • WE ACCEPT SOME INSURANCES AND HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNTS. FOR FURTHER INFORMATION, PLEASE GIVE US A CALL AT 202-543-5950 PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Let us help you pamper that special person. Gift vouchers for any treatment, package or spa products may be purchased ONLINE, at the front desk or over the phone with credit card. Gift CERTIFICATES are not refundable; however, they are transferable.

GRATUITIES/ TIPPING

EACH THERAPIST ON OUR TEAM IS WELCOME TO RECEIVE TIPS.  18-25% IS CUSTOMARY, HOWEVER THE AMOUNT YOU LEAVE IS TRULY AT YOUR DISCRETION.  THIS MAY BE PAID IN CASH, CARD, OR USING A GIFT CERTIFICATE.

PUNCTUALITY

WE RESPECTFULLY REQUEST THAT YOU ARRIVE 10 MINUTES EARLY PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENTS AT SPA ON THE HILL.  YOUR THERAPIST HAS ALLOCATED YOUR APPOINTMENT TIME EXCLUSIVELY FOR YOUR SCHEDULED TREATMENT.  IF YOU ARE LATE, YOUR THERAPIST RESERVES THE RIGHT TO OFFER YOU A SHORTENED TREATMENT OR ADVISE YOU TO RESCHEDULE, WHICH MAY INCUR A FEE.

CANCELLATIONS

We understand that occasionally you may have to cancel an appointment with us. However, we do ask that you give us fair warning. You will be emailed or texted the day before to confirm your appointment. As a courtesy to our other clients and staff, it is company policy for all clients to give 24-hour notice of cancellation. Failure to do so will result in a 75% charge FOR your scheduled treatments.

RETURNS/EXCHANGES

SPA TREATMENTS, PRODUCTS, PACKAGES AND GIFT CARDS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.

ETIQUETTE

OUR TEAM are dedicated, professional THERAPISTS who reserve the right to terminate treatments and services if guests are excessively intoxicated or make inappropriate comments, suggestions or advances to any member of the team.

MINORS/GUESTS

OUR LOCATION IS INTIMATE. For the comfort of all our guests and the enjoyment of your experience, children and pets are not permitted in our spa. EASTERN MARKET AND BARRACKS ROW ARE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE (A FEW SHORT BLOCKS) WITH SEVERAL DINING OR SHOPPING OPTIONS.

PHONES

We ask that you place all phones and devices on SILENT before entering our facility. This allows the opportunity for all clients to unwind comfortably.

REFRESHMENTS

Spa on the Hill provides an array of refreshments including water, tea, alcohol-free wine, and snacks.
